What Can I Tell You . . .

What’s your story?

For me, voice over and storytelling interact to form a friendship. Prior to voice over, I earned a masters in marriage and family therapy and a doctorate in human development and family studies. These degrees took me to roles as a therapist (primarily with children, adolescents, and families), a course developer, and professor. It may not be obvious, but each of these opportunities refined my insight into people and their stories.

As a voice over artist, I rely on my understanding of people, taking on their perspective, as I consider the tone and purpose of clients and their intended audience. Connections and conversations are where it’s at for me in the voice over world. I’ve also spent a lot of time working with children and adolescents and have a voice described to be on the lighter and quirkier side. So, if you’re looking for a side of quirk with your voice over, I’ve got you covered!
